Hi folks, been away a while from the forum due to personal reasons but sad to see the forum like it is now after reading some threads when I logged in. Especially as it was the best place for getting all your Discus info and a place full of great people. I'm hopefully getting my tank back stocked with Discus again and only have 1 Discus left, but hopefully will have new tankmates for it soon. Hope everyone is well and life is treating you good.

    Welcome back billy
Unfortunatly a while ago the forum was struggling & took a turn for the worse due to the 1 in 100's not selling out , or even half selling so there was no funds to keep it goin, but THANX to Artur & admin etc artur managed to sort out a server to keep BIDKA goin so at least we still have a forum even thow there isnt much activity

Hi mate, hope things are good with you. Been a longtime away and a shame this has happened and got a bit of a shock when I logged in again to the forum.
At least it's still here. The fishkeeping has took a backseat for me over the last few years but i kept the tank running with just one discus and various tetras. I'm getting the discus bug back a bit so hopefully will get more soon.

I thing it is more general trend. Internet is around only about 15 years and it seems like everything was already written, there is also facebook etc.
It is sad indeed to see less people using forums these days as nothing can beat good community in terms of knowledge etc.

i am still here, pop on occasionally, its a good thing i have not posted for a while, (touch wood) means everything is running smooth,
i lost 2 fish after the house move, now down to 6 Discus still have the melon i won on here, and 5 Geophagus,
for me the Discus front has gone quite due to planning an extension, so i and just running the tank as the wife would like me to get a new tank that matches the room.

I am here also, although mainly in spirit as i now have no discus!
I was fortunate enough to recieve some donations thanks to a family member closing down a tank so I am still 'in the game' but no discus on the horizon...

Thanks Artur the grandparents were a Platinum Blue Albino x Super Eruption, these fish are bred from the intermediates, I also have a pair of APD, and albino christals

I got a massive albino-tuquoise female which I need to breed before she gets too old. Unfortunatelly lost blue snakeskin male (brother of the female, both fish after mixed intermediate parents) I hoped to pair her with.
