I came home tonight and while feeding my main tank I found one of my discus with pimples across the back also producing some extra slime...

Was still eating and very active... the pimples I have never seen before and can't get a shot on my camera clear to show you..

I have put the discus in the med tank just as a precaution while I ask...

    Any ideas?

Clean the glass Roger, just cos I don't is not a reason to do the same!

Could of just injured itself - but the excess mucus is a worry as this is the fishes natural defenses to parasites / bacteria - check pH / ammonia / nitrite - any new fish or fish from different sources in your house?

Options here are to see how just some clean water goes or try a shotgun med like F&MG. Watch all of the fish carefully and don't use the same equipment in each tank for now.
